Day 128 - Olive Garden

I haven't been a fan of Olive Garden in about a century. The first time I went I was young and I liked it because I didn't know any better but then I came here as an adult was not impressed. It was actually pretty good this time around AND our server was on top of things too. We came here for Pop's birthday since he really likes Olive Garden.

Day 112:

Chicken and Rice for dinner.....nothing new there.

Day 109: Ma Questo Non e Lungo, E Un Espresso!

Went to Dinner and it was DELICIOUS. Greg got an espresso afterwards, I got Frangelico.

Day 60: A Successful Day!

Went for my bridal gown trials today and wasn't expecting to find my dress today in one go at one store in less than 15 minutes but I did. My bridal consultant couldn't have been better I am so pleased with her and this appointment. I was incredibly stressed out about this whole dress thing for months. I figured it'd cost a fortune, they wouldn't have anything I liked, etc etc but the first dress reassured me. In fact I thought the first dress would be THE ONE it was absolutely gorgeous but I decided on something more subtle and more "me". A Dress I fell in love with multiple times unknowingly on the internet, magazines and here by a sheer coincidence on me. I can't post pictures of it here because I don't want to spoil it before my wedding but it's GORGEOUS and it was WAY under budget! I am so happy! My future mother-in-law was there and my cousin, the only person missing was my sister but I really wasn't planning on actually getting a dress today and didn't think it'd be fair to ask her to drive all this way just for shits and giggles. I was going to get serious in VA,MD,DC so now I'm bummed she wasn't there for that initial trial but I can't dwell on it too much, it's done with now. Me, Greg, and my cousin went out for celebratory drinks which was super fun, I love hanging out with Nichole, I don't get to see her much. After she went home we went over to Mark and Sandra's house so we could go out to dinner. I was incredibly tired by then so I felt bad I didn't have much energy left in me but I always love seeing them!

Day 46: Annual Christmas Dinner

We had a great turn out as always. It gets a little worrisome when there is bad weather or when people bail at the last second but other people always show up to make up for the missing people and we always have a big crowd and lots of fun. This year was no different except that instead of going out for the dinner this year we had it at my sister's bf's house and made it a potluck. There was so much good food it was ridiculous. Everyone contributed something even if it was just help in the kitchen which was really appreciated.

Day 45: Christmas Prepping

Every year we have a Christmas Dinner with friends to celebrate the year and to give us all an excuse to hang out and see our friends, especially the ones we don't see often enough. Greg got in to town early and we went grocery shopping then helped tabby with her goodies for the shin dig.

In the process of it all, of course we get out some drinks and carried on until midnight or so then hit the hay.

Day 29: Not having to work tomorrow

I worked both jobs today as I do every Wednesday. I didn't mind because we were busy and Teresa and Damaris were working :) (my 2 fav people there) The bad part about working at a restaurant that has amazing food is I always want to eat something whether I'm hungry or not BUT I have been very good about only eating something if I am absolutely starving and today I was so  got one of my personal favs, A piece of grilled chicken with pita and tzatziki sauce.

SO GOOD.

I also went home and played some Fat Princess and Sims Freeplay. Since tomorrow is Thanksgiving I had a couple of the guys get together to have Thanksgiving dinner together. I know, I'm a loser. 

You have to admit, it's pretty cute.

Day 25: John from NJ

Funny group. John from NJ came down to compete in a body building contest (You wouldn't guess it but he's ripped and he's the one posing obviously lol) This dinner was hilarious. John was telling us of this creation he made with waffles a long time ago, "Waffles with layers of ice cream, chocolate chips..." and I interrupted "and pretzels and shrimp" which mace everyone lose it because it's pretty disgusting lol. So happy to see him, sad for such a short time.
