Day 139 - Are you F'n Kidding me???

The snow is NOT trying to give up this year. It's SPRING.

Day 113: Snow again

Snow is pretty, just not fun when you have to go to work. We haven't seen this much snow (in frequency) in VA in many years. Sure we had a blizzard a couple years back but it didn't snow every 5 days then like it has been doing this year.

Day 107: 13 inches of Snow

We had a REAL snow day finally!

by the time it stopped snowing though I think it was closer to 16 inches but I wasn't outside to measure it then. I measured it first thing in the morning.

Mini got bundled up to frolic in the snow too. She didn't know what to do for a good deal of time but when I started running in it she attempted to follow but got stuck so i picked her up and ran with her, plopped her in the snow and it gave her the energy she needed to start running and hopping around like a snow bunny :3 She's so damn cute

Day 84: Real Snow

It was getting old, hearing, "It's gonna snow!" all the time and it either turns out to be nothing maybe even a little rain or a light dusting. THIS time, it was finally different.

Started accumulating at lunch time. SO pretty, finally looks like Winter.

Inches!

It was still snowing here and it didn't stop until the wee hours of the morning so we finally had good snow.

Day 65: SNOW part 2

It snowed!

Day 42: I called it

LOL what did I say? Okay so you prob can't read that but it says the Fed Gov is closed. I THOUGHT SO. It IS snowing though just not bad enough for a closure. 

On an unrelated note, this is the image in my Calendar for the month of December. It's so pretty. 

and THIS, is my schedule for the month. First Bridal Salon appt this month. SO NERVOUS.

Day 41: Why are we here today?

We follow the government schedule for work so when they close we close but I have no idea why we are here today when the ground is icy and trees have fallen over from heavy ice taking hold of every branch. It's supposed to snow tomorrow, I have a feeling that IF it does, we will be closed and it won't even be that serious. I am counting on it being a light dusting and then we close for nothing when we can use that snow day for another time when we ACTUALLY need it.

Day 40: It's SNOWING!

I was worried seeing this snow because I finally got to make plans with this girl I have been friends with from online for ages (I know her bf but she and I became friends on FB and we started texting etc) It's been a year of us being so busy we never had time to hang out so we finally discussed meeting up last night for today but only if the weather wasn't that bad. I thought for sure things were once again not going to work because the weather was iffy but she surprisingly said she didn't care, she had enough waiting around and this was going to happen so we finally met each other in person. She is awesome. I always knew she was but I didn't realize how similar we were to one another, it's incredibly strange to talk to someone where everything you do they do and what you believe they believe and what you want they want and we have the same sense of humor and awkwardness about certain things and we are both blunt. We were cut from the same cloth. We went to Tyson's Corner and had a drink and some appetizers at Coastal Flats and when she said her drink did nothing for her after our 2 hour blab session I asked if her goals was to feel a buzz and she said yeah so I said Lets go to the bar then and so off we went. We went to T.G.I Fridays since they have some pretty sweet cocktails plus it was happy hour and we hung out up there for a couple more hours which was EVENTFUL to say the least. There were lots of laughs and awkward drunk man being weird moments and then one of her bf's friends walked in and we ended up hanging out with him and then went to a Hookah place after that with 2 of his friends which lead to me being out later than i should have been out but realistically I go to bed at 2 or 3am when I am home anyway and I was having fun so why not stay out now? It was a lot of fun.
